I prepared this chronological shortlist in response to a strand started at my friend Tera Marie Major’s web group. It has since been revised to include the work of Izidore Kosminsky in response to a suggestion by Michelle Adler. In addition to excluding works on the fixed star degrees, I have also excluded L. Edward Johndro’s work on the ruling degrees of cities since it really belongs filed under ‘Mundane Astrology’ instead.

deep into a comparative study of 360 degree astrology, I have managed to download workable copies of most of the key Oracles. I need it in a form I can copy and paste, so that I can see them laid out alongside each other (in documents). But things have tightened up it seems over last couple of years. There is a few I can’t get. I would be very interested to get Elizabeth Aldritch, Degrees of the zodiac analyzed. I would appreciate any help. Isabel
Isabel, many thanks for your message a couple of days ago!
I suspect that the reason why you have not been able to find Elizabeth Aldrich’s books on the degrees of the zodiac easily is that they are truly very scarce. In 13 years of vigilant online collecting, I’ve seen them come up for sale just once – and those were the copies I bought. There are no copies in Worldcat-listed public libraries.
What I hope eventually to do is to scan the contents and display them on this website. It may be necessary to verify their copyright status first, however, and at the moment my whole collection remains boxed up while I’m at a temporary address, awaiting a permanent home for my library. I hope to have resolved this within twelve months at this stage.
