[1] Moritz or Mauritius Knauer, Abbot of Langheim from 1649 to 1664

[2] This edition not found in German library records. Internal references indicate a probable date around 1950. Internally, it features what appears to be the facsimile title page of the original edition reading: “Auf Hundert Jahr gestellter Curiöser Kalender / Nemlichen Von 1950 biß 2050 – Darinnen zufinden Wie ein jeder Hauß-Vatter / hohes und niedriges Standes / solche gantze Zeit über nach der sieben Planeten Influentz judiciren / und sein Haußwesen mit Nutzen einrichten möge; auchmit Kupfferstichen vermehret / von F. Mauritius Abbt Zue Langheim”. I could not find records of the original edition under this title in German library searches. The proper book ends on p. 48 of the present edition, the remainder being mixed editorial and advertising content by the publisher

[3] That is, the first in a series of four publications drawn from annually held workshops. The others were by different authors: Dr. Karl Hagenbuchner (II); Dr. Ernst von Xylander (III) and Prof. R. Tomaschek, (IV), all of q. v.

[4] i.e. “Psychiatrie und Kosmobiologie by Dr. Karl Hagenbuchner, q. v.

[5] After the original printing of 1950, whose copyright is ascribed to Kosmobiosophische Gesellschaft e. V.. It appears most likely that the present printing is also published by the same publisher, although it is not explicitly stated as such on the title page. The advertisement to the inside of the front cover is for Kosmobiosophische Gesellschaft e. V.. The original printing is shown from the copyright page to have been a Sonderdruck der “Astrologischen Monatshefte” – by which I presume it is implied that the content was originally serialised in Hans Genuit’s magazine of that name before being printed as a standalone volume in 1950, and that the present printing is the second one of the standalone volume. But this must be subject to confirmation. This collection does not hold copies of Genuit’s magazine to date.

[6] German library records give 1958

[7] Two separate early typed drafts, the second also provided in a separate print copy, of Koch’s original typescript, with some of his hand corrections. The title varies, with the ‘II’ sometimes being present but crossed out by hand and other times being absent.

[8] Guessed to be from the 1950s

[9] A set of three typescripts in more polished and final-looking form, albeit the last still featuring some corrections by hand. May have been published in the Astrologische Monatshefte at some stage, in common with various other documents by Koch in this collection

[10] After the original edition of 1936, which was published by Richard-Hummel-Verlag, Leipzig

[11] Dated 1959, and advertising Koch and Knappich “Horoskop und Himmelshäuser” (q. v.)

[12] For works by Dr. Koch, of all dates to 1959

[13] The surname is hard to read

[14] An incomplete hand-typed document, with some hand corrections, presumed by Koch

[15] Comprises articles entitled ‘Die Planetenbögen von M. Gauquelin’; ‘Das Holländische Häusersystem’; ‘Ein Neuer Jünger der Astrologie’; ‘Beduinen und Sterne’; ‘Alte und Neue Planetarien’; ‘Das Grabmal des Papstes Sixtus IV’; ‘Ein Schnell-Lehrgang’ and ‘Astrologie für Anstreicher’

[16] Said to be ‘aus Astrologische Monatshefte 3-4 / 1960’

[16a] A periodical edited at this time by Dr. med. W. Rink., whose address is given as (13b) Hopfen am See b. Füssen / Allgäu

[17] A congress said to have been directed jointly by André Barbault of Paris, and Hans Genuit of Hamburg. Genuit was also editor of a periodical called “Astrologischen Monatshefte”, in association with which the present publication seems to have been produced

[18] With separate t. p. to second leaf: ‘Erster Teil: Häusertafeln nach rationaler Manier (Regiomontanus) fürdie Nördlichen Breiten von 46º bis 56º bei einer Ekliptikschiefe von 23º27’15” – Unveränderter Nachdruck der 1. Auflage von 1932’. A footnote to this explains that the 1932 printing was published as Sonderheft 3 of “Zenit”, while a second edition appeared ‘als Vervielfältigung im Vertrieb Gustav Schwickert, Graz, 1953’. With separate t. p. to p. 61: ‘Zweiter Teil: Regiomontanus – Leben und Häusersystem (Abdruck mit gütiger Erlaubnis von Willy Bischoff, Berlin)’. It is not clear to me what the reprint credit accorded to Willy Bischoff relates to: a previous publication of Koch’s whole text in this half of his book, or just a picture of Regiomontanus that appears on this additional title page to it. But Bischoff wrote a book “Wir und das Weltall”, published in 1952, and it seems possible that it may have included the picture of Regiomontanus that Koch has reproduced here

[19] As stated on the copyright page. For Teil I, see below under Koch und Knappich

[20] It is not known how many copies of the book were edited in this manner after printing

[21] There is no explicit publication credit for the present slim volume within it; but the publisher identity is easy to deduce. The details have been taken from advertising for other publications within it

[22] Guessed to be from the 1950s

[23] Contemporaneous photocopy of a typed index to the contents of a German astrological periodical.

[24] Guessed 1950s

[25] A discussion of house systems. The nominal II. Teil of 1960 was not published under this title, but rather as “Regiomontanus und das Häusersystem des Geburtsortes”, and credited solely to Koch, q. v. above

[26] The surname is illegible but appears to resemble Rull or Rall

[27] One of at least three editions of Koch house tables for this wide range of northern latitudes produced by this team. Further printings dated 1978 and 1985 are reported by the DNB, in addition to an American translation published by ASI Publishers in 1975. Previously, Koch and Schäck had also published tables for a narrower range of latitudes in two separate volumes: for 45º to 56º N, in 1962 (second edition 1967); and for 23º to 44º N, in 1965, all of these editions also being held by the DNB
