[1a] The address shown was the A.F.A.’s address from 1944 to 1954 inclusive at least. It had been displaced by 6, Library Court by November 1963. This may therefore conceivably be the original printing of this volume; and it cannot in any event be later than 1963.
[1b] The final article called for in the table of contents is signed on p. 82, which therefore appears to be the end of the volume. There is no evidence of any contents having been removed, the staples being firmly bound around the final leaf. It is therefore clear that the volume was significantly extended in a later edition published some time between this one and the post-1975 printing held, if not for the first time in that printing, which is possible
