[0] The nativity is for an individual born on February 6th, 1911 in Toledo, Ohio. Internal evidence suggests a probable date of March 1912 for this report. The forecast given is for the years 1929-1938, in accordance with the stated policy not to cover progressed aspects during early youth

[1] After 1916

[2] The overall publication is undated, but one of the two essays in it is dated January 28, 1915, and the introduction refers to “October last, 1914”, so 1915 would seem to be indicated as the year of publication

[3] A misprint for L. N. Fowler & Co.

[4] Presumed late 1910s or early 1920s; former owner’s signature dated 1924

[5] NB: The advertisements in Copy B are for the same works, but are unnumbered and in some cases priced where those in Copy A were not, while in others, the prices are higher in Copy B than in Copy A. It would appear that Copy B is in fact a later issue of the Fifth Edition

[6] The first edition, in blue cloth. British Library records agree with this date

[7] A later printing of the second edition whose original, dated printing is shown above. The advertisements for other books suggest late 1929 or early 1930 for the copy that has its original advertisements and dust jacket; the other copy is likely to be from the same printing

[7a] After the original edition whose preface, retained, is dated 1920

[8] Library records show 1939

[9] A book of readings of the solar degrees, linked to birthdays. Both succinctly expressed symbols and multi-paragraph readings are included for each day of the year. The true identity of the author is not known

[10] A monochrome facsimile reprint of the original 1489 printing. The book itself is believed to have been written around 1271 based on the internal evidence of chart references

[11] The first ever English translation of the above

[12] A series of publications collectively edited by Wolfgang R. Dick and Jürgen Hamel at this time, on behalf of the Arbeitskreises Astronomiegeschichte in der Astronomischen Gesellschaft

[13] The main focus of this work, as the title suggests, is Latin astrological text-books published between 1470 and 1610. There is also a lengthy discussion of antique and medieval astrological text-books, and a long chapter on theological and scientific discourses surrounding astrology in the Renaissance

[13a] A misprint for 497-8

[13b] The first edition in print of this posthumously published late work by the author. The preface retains the date from the manuscript, unpublished in his lifetime, of Septembre 1868

[14] Additional international addresses are given as Hipp. Baillière, 219, Regent’s street, Londres; Baillière brothers, 440, Broadway, New York; and C. Bailly-Baillière, Plaza del Principe Alfonso, 16, Madrid

[15] = Bound-in catalogue of Librairie Germer Baillière, Octobre 1872. The later date would suggest either that this copy of the original text was unsold seven years after printing and was at that time rebound, or that the entire printing is an undeclared later issue from 1872 of the original edition

[16] A condensed translation of ‘Dogme et Rituel de la Haute Magie, q. v. above
