Yet, the imprimatur reads January 1975, so the book club edition would appear to have been simultaneous with the official publisher’s one if so. The pagination is complicated by the publisher’s wilful omission to paginate the last page of text in absolutely every chapter or self-contained section thereof, a failing shared with several other books in this collection, nearly all of them produced by French and German publishers of the mid-late 20th century
