Binding format and presentation notes:

  • All issues to June 1988 held in the first of two half-leather volumes. (Two copies thus. Copy A worn at extremities of spine hinges and outer corners of boards; moderately at parts of bottom edges of boards. Copy A with simple gilt rule to spine, and is labelled ‘Book I’. Copy B with boards detached, and outer spine detached, chipped at extremities, and split into two pieces. Copy B has more elaborate gilt rule to spine and is labelled ‘Vol. I.’)
  • All issues from November 1889 held in the second half-leather volume. (One copy only, labelled ‘Book II’. Moderately worn at extremities of spine hinges, outer corners of boards, and part s of bottom edges of boards).
