A Mathematical Analysis of the Astrological Evidences of War with Japan 1st The Quality Print Shop, Rochester, N.Y. 1911 £375 This very rare early work by Johndro is not in Worldcat. It is illustrated with 13 finely artistically printed mundane astrological charts of relevance to the author’s text. ASSOCIATION COPY. Original blue card covers in fair condition: with separation down most of the length of the spine, but covers are both holding at the two staples. Front cover with inset illustration of eagle in flight superimposed with red title looks very good and dramatic still, with a few short tears to its inner edge; rear cover has a chip lost from lower inner corner of rear cover, and small one from upper outer corner of same. Distinctive silver name stamp of Hollywood astrologer Alice Q. Reichard to front cover. This was previously the copy of her friend Ralph Kraum, a notable American mundane astrologer and astrological data collector who served as an early consultant astrologer to future President of the USA Ronald Reagan, and bears his signature to inside of front cover and a note of his to upper margin of title page, dated 1969, this presumed to have been the year when he acquired this copy of the book second-hand. Very small, inoffensive blue-inked marginal crosses to pp. 25, 31 and 33, and to one unnumbered early page. No other permanent markings or faults found; two pages with plain-pencilled marginal brackets (erasable), An exceptional association copy of this very rare booklet.
