pb Efrein, Laurie A Magic Moment: Bach and Beyond 1st CAO Times 1984 £7.50   Original plain card wrappers with black print in good- overall condition: 1-inch separation towards top of front spine hinge is main fault; some creasing to front flap and lightly to corresponding areas of front cover; heavier crease across lower outer margin of front cover; scattered staining to covers. Ffep with former owner’s hand-inked signature, dated 1985, and address. Small crease across lower outer corner of title leaf. Some other leaves with creases across upper outer corners, presumed corrected deliberate dog-ears used by former owner as a place-finding aid. Inked marginal bracketing and functionally similar marks to pp. 5, 9, 59 and 351. Inked annotation and green-inked underlining to p. 37. Inked corrections and marginal marks to p. 44. Red-inked slip-of-a-pen mark crossing text to p. 92. Occasional plain-pencilled marginal bracketing and notes. Inner paper hinge between pp. 88 and 89 almost entirely split; needs professional repair to keep book block together.
