hb Lilly, William Christian Astrology 3rd Regulus Publishing Co. 1985 £350 A fine facsimile edition including a colour portrait of Lilly that was absent from the original 17th-century editions. This edition has become highly collectible. Original full imitation leather cloth in vgc+ condition, with light rubbing to foot of front spine hinge and lower outer corner of front board; flexible boards slightly bowed, with a few slight traces of horizontal creasing in the rear board, else near-fine. Gilt titling to spine still bright and strong; gilt to top edge of page block intact. Inner paper hinge between half-title page and frontis. leaf slightly strained, else internally fine, with no markings or other faults found.
