Bibliography of Vocational Astrology and Astrological Counselling
There are many old astrological textbooks that give rules for profession and career, and those looking for the rules from a particular time period are advised to refer directly to all relevant primary astrological source texts and check them individually.
However, the main book list here is necessarily limited for brevity to books in the library that either specifically mention keywords related to career, profession or vocation in their titles or, if they do not, are in practice majorly focused upon this area. In nearly all cases, these are relevant to vocational astrology, but one German title on vocational graphology has been thrown in for background interest.
I have not included general birth data collections here but have included some that are focused on very specific professional areas because of their inherent interest to the astrological analysis of vocation. All other birth data collections will have to wait for their own dedicated bibliography.
Appended is a second list of sources that covers astrology as a profession and astrological counselling and consultations in particular, aside from ones that were already caught by the vocational astrology focus above. There is a close relationship between the two lists in that much of astrological counselling has traditionally been focused on career advice, and given that astrology itself is a vocation, it seemed appropriate to combine the two related themes onto a single bibliography page.
