Original full cloth in near-fine condition, with gilt titling to spine still bright and strong. No visible wear I could see. Tiny speck of whitish staining towards lower outer corner of front board. In near-fine dj with moderate rubbing to top of rear spine hinge; minor traces of rubbing to top of front spine hinge and extremities of flap-folds; original price sticker to rear panel. Light foxing to upper and outer closed editions of page block. Internally fine, with no markings or faults found. An extremely well-conserved copy of the first edition.
