Original orange card covers in near-fine condition for age, with light creasing to upper outer corner of rear cover, and a few traces of apparently accidental red-pencil markings to covers. Inside of front cover has ‘Sold by Church of Light’ address label pasted upon it. There is a slight unevenness to how the sheets have been folded on this copy so that all pages after the central staples sit about 4mm higher than the ones in the first half of the book at their outer edges, but this is of no real consequence. Upper outer corner of title page with original black-stamped price marking, as issued. Tiny thumb-stain to upper outer margin of p. 9. There are some artefacts of the photocopying process by which this edition was produced visible, especially to the top and bottom lines, where text is sometimes partially clipped but still decipherable. The worst I could find is the bottom of p. 3, where the final sentence seems to be cut off, presumed from the bottom line having been missed in photocopying, but it is easy to deduce that the missing words should be ‘essential dignities’, and I have confirmed this by comparing with another edition of the book. Complete as issued, and in near-fine condition inside and out. Minor printing defects factored into price.
