| pb | Granite, Robert Hurtz | The Fortunes of Astrology: A New, Complete Treatment of the Arabic Parts | 1st | Astro Computing Services, San Diego, California | 1981 | £20 | Stated first printing, July 1981 | Original outwardly glossy card covers externally near-fine, with minimal trace of rubbing to top of spine; the insides of covers are, however, marked from a past liquid spill – the rear cover more extensively so, the front cover only peripherally. Half-title-page leaf also has tide mark to lower and lower outer margins of both sides, barely touching final ‘Y’ of title towards bottom of half-title page, but not reaching text on other side; and a former owner’s inked signature to upper margin of half-title page. Main title page and following leaf with just the slightest trace of tide marking to lower margins a few mm from bottom. The remaining pages are unaffected. No previous owner markings found beyond title page. Overall, a good copy that would be near-fine if not for the liquid spill affecting the insides of the covers. Rare outside USA |
