Originally published in 1819 | Original full blue cloth in vgc+ condition for age, with minimal traces of rubbing to extremities of spine hinges and outer corners of boards; slight bump to lower outer corner of front board; tiny indentation mark towards centre of inner margin of front board; and a few minor traces of staining to boards. In good- dj, which has light chipping to tops of spine hinges and to extremities of flap-folds; rubbing to extremities of spine and of flap-folds, and along surface of spine hinges, with one small hole in front spine hinge; 2 cm tear to bottom edge of rear panel; and brown tape repair to inside of lower part of spine and of inner margins of both panels. Plain-pencilled initials to ffep. Internally fine, with no permanent markings or other faults found. Overall, an excellent copy in a well-worn dj that nonetheless retains its attractive front cover image and is still in one piece. The dj rarely survives at all on the Weiser hardback edition. |
