After the original, very scarce Langford Press edition of 1950. The only date appearing internally, 1946-9, represents the original span of dates of serialisation of the contents in magazine articles. Booksellers often misread from those dates that this edition was published in 1949, which is false. | Original uncoated yellow pictorial card covers in vgc+ condition, with light creasing and staining towards upper outer corner of rear cover, and light creasing to outer corners of front cover, else near-fine. Staples sound with just a trace of surface rust. Internally near-fine. Outline of erased plain-pencilled price marking to upper margin of title page. Corrected dog-ear to upper outer corner of leaf comprising pp. 11-12. No permanent markings or other faults found. An excellent copy for its age |
