(Publishers) Ltd., 178-202 Great Portland Street, London W. 1 1964 £25 After the first two printings of 1959 and third of 1961 Original red cloth with artistically outlined black details to spine bearing orange and white titling, as issued. Cloth in vgc for age, with light rubbing to extremities of spine and outer corners of boards, and slight sun-fading to cloth at spine. Internally also very good overall, with nearly all pages free from previous owner markings, excepting a small black diagonal dash to upper outer corner of p. 354 and a plain-pencilled marginal bracket with ‘N B’ adjacent to it to outer margin of p. 356; 1 cm tear to outer edge of leaves comprising pp. 405-8, far from text. Some pages with faint traces of foxing, but nothing obtrusive or heavy. Rear f.e.p. with short 4mm tear to top edge. No other faults found
