hb Astarte Astrology: The Future in Your Stars 1st Bancroft 1967 £8.50   Original quarter-cloth with pictorially printed paper-covered boards. In good condition overall. Spine very good (lightly browned). Front board with severe fading to the three lowest-contrast pictures (the scales, the water-bearer and the lion, which were printed with a pale pink ink). Heavy wear to outer corners of rear board. Moderate wear to edges of rear board and to outer corners of front board. Considerable discoloration and surface scratching to rear board. Internally, endpapers and periphery of all internal pages relatively browned, as usual with this book, printed on low-quality post-war paper. No internal markings found. Two short tears to and towards top of inside edge of leaf comprising pp. 95-6, and 7mm closed tear to bottom of same leaf’s inside edge – all far from text.
