Gilt titling to spine still bright and strong. In near-fine dj, with slight spotting to rear flap and minimal traces of staining if you look closely. Plain-pencilled number to rear paste-down. Tiny rust-like stain upon letters li’ in word ‘earlier’ within endnote 90 on p. 396, but no deliberate permanent markings or other faults found.
