hb Pingree, David The Thousands of Abū Ma’Shar 1st The Warburg Institute, University of London 1968 £300   Original full woven cloth in near-fine condition, with tiny speck of white staining to top edge of rear board, and occasional variabilities in the weave, but no obvious wear. Binding remains strong throughout. Paper remains clean and bright. Early small plain-pencilled bookseller price to upper margin of ffep, but no other markings found. Minimal creasing towards lower outer corners of pages if you look closely, but this is barely visible in use. A near-fine copy of a very rare and highly sought-after academic text in its original edition
