Solar and Lunar Returns: How They Affect You According to the Sidereal Zodiac 2nd Llewellyn Publications, St. Paul, Minnesota 1968 £37.50 The second impression, after the original edition, which is here mistakenly back-dated to 1948 (it was actually from 1950) Original yellow card covers with turquoise titling and decorative bordering in vgc, with 1 cm tear to inner margin of front cover adjacent to staple; scattered light creasing to front cover; crease across upper outer corner of rear cover, minor trace of creasing across lower outer corner of same, and mild traces of peripheral staining to covers. Former owner’s charming pictorial printed sepia bookplate pasted to inside of front cover. Tiny black-inked price handwritten to upper margin of ffep. Internally mostly free from markings, but one sentence highlighted in yellow to p. 40, and very slight trace of a splash to lower part of p. 49, which is entirely confined to this page and does not show through even on the other side of the same leaf. No other faults found. Plain-pencilled marginal bracket spotted to one page and plain-pencilled marginal tick to one other. A near-very-good copy that remains solidly bound in spite of the slight tearing adjacent to the upper staple on the front cover.
