First published thus in 1989 Outwardly glossy pictorial card covers in vgc+ condition or better, with minor traces of creasing to some peripheral parts of covers, and traces of light edge-wear, else near-fine. Slight staining to parts of closed edges of page block. Corrected dog-ear to lower outer corner of leaf comprising pp. 19-20 of internal Volume 1. Minor staining to part of outer margin of p. 8. Heading ‘TENTH HOUSE’ to p. 58 has been underlined in blue ink. Blue-inked marginal brackets around one short paragraph to p. 84. Possible short (4mm) black-inked slip-of-a-pen mark to dedication page introducing Volume 2. Internal Volume 3 has blue-inked underlining to pp. 4-6, 8-11, 31-2 and 34-6; some accidental staining to pp. 4-5; a few blue-inked slip-of-a-pen marks to p. 6; blue-inked marginal diagrams to pp. 8 and 11; and tiny blue-inked circle between two lines of text to p. 37. Further blue-inked diagram to final blank, and slip-of-a-pen mark to inside of rear cover. Externally vgc+; internally only good because of the mark-up and small areas of staining. Overall, a good+ copy that remains tightly bound and perfectly readable.
