hb Benjamine, Elbert Progressed Aspects of Standard Astrology 1st The Aries Press, Chicago 1942 £30   Original full blue cloth in vgc, with moderate rubbing to extremities of spine and outer corners of boards, and light rubbing to parts of top and bottom edges of boards. Spine slightly sun-faded. Front paste-down has original owner’s signature struck through with permanent marker to upper margin alongside plain-pencilled number, with ‘Printed in U.S.A.’ in deep red ink stamped to lower margin, and a voided library pocket pasted to centre. Red-pencilled underlining to pp. 7, 11 and 24; p. 24 also with a little black-inked underlining. Plain-pencilled underlining to pp. 11, 12 and 19; small plain-pencilled slip-of-a-pencil mark to p. 31. No other markings or faults found. Externally very good; internally good. Overall, a good+ copy of the first edition
