hb/dj Russell, Eric Astrology and Prediction 1st B. T. Batsford, London 1972 £12   Original cloth in near-fine condition, with gilt to spine bright. In near-fine dj, price-clipped at front flap, with tiny 3mm patch of surface wear towards top of front hinge, light wear to tops of flap-folds, and small circular sticker to upper outer margin of front panel. Slight creasing across outer margin of ffep, which has bookseller’s plain-pencilled notes to upper outer margin. Faint trace of light creasing to outer margins of remaining preliminaries, perceptible only if you look closely as far as p. 12. Creasing across upper outer corner of leaf comprising pp. 49-50, which is cut a few mm too large and would appear therefore to have been turned in at that corner at the time of the binder’s trim. No other faults found.
