Advertising at back also shows Alan Leo’s book ‘Esoteric Astrology’ as being only ‘in preparation’. It was first published in 1913. | Original small-format deep green cloth in vgc+ condition, with tiniest hint of rubbing to extremities of centre of spine and a few small liquid droplet marks to front board; spine lightly browned, else fine. Plain-pencilled early owner’s signature in a fine hand, and separate plain-pencilled inventory note, to ffep. Plain-pencilled marginal brackets to pp. 6 and 7, but very little pencil marking found, and no permanent marks throughout. Overall, a near-fine, exceptionally clean copy of the highly-sought-after first edition of this title. |
