Däath, Heinrich [Alan Leo’s Astrological Manuals No. 9:] Medical Astrology 1st 9, Lyncroft Gardens, West Hampstead, London, N.W. n.d. £75 [xii] + 111 pages. Library records show 1908. The first edition is distinguished from all reprints by its brown patterned cloth binding Original small-format full brown patterned cloth in vgc+ condition, with light rubbing to extremities of spine and outer corners of boards; and small old label adhered to spine. Black titling to front board remains clear. Front paste-down with bookplate of former owner, and a separate small location stamp. Initial blank with a few plain-pencilled bookseller notes. Upper half of paper hinge between pp. 32 and 33 slightly strained. Printed pages unmarked. Another excellent antiquarian copy of the rare first edition
