Ltd. 1970 £25 Second edition March 1970, after first of 1966 Original blue cloth in near-fine condition, with silver titling to spine still bright; minor trace of staining to lower margin of front board. Front board slightly bowed. In fair dj, which is structurally sound, with minimal chipping to extremities of front flap-fold and price-clipped front flap, but is cosmetically spoiled by a past liquid spill; the front panel also has scattered staining to it. Internally, there are identical former owner’s name and address stamps to both ffeps; to blank parts of half-title page, title page and table of contents page; to upper margin of first page of Foreword; to outer margin of p. 104 (slightly crossing table); to blank p. [106]; to p. 108; and to first and third rear free endpapers. Vintage pictorial semi-circular Macoy Publishing address label to rear paste-down. No other markings or faults found. Overall, still a vgc+ copy of this early printing, in fair dj.
