hb/dj Townley, John Planets in Love: Exploring Your Emotional and Sexual Needs 1st printing Para Research, Rockport, Massachusetts 1978 £40 Stated first printing limited to 6,000 copies, February 1978 Original woven full cloth in near-fine condition, with minimal rubbing to extremities of spine hinges and tips of outer corners of boards; linear surface scratch to rear board is only obvious flaw. Silver titling to front board and spine still strong and bright. In vgc dj, with archival tissue repair to inside of rear panel to repair and stabilise tear caused by the same scratch of which a trace is visible on the rear board; light rubbing to extremities of spine and along flap-folds and spine hinges; scattered traces of staining to front panel and a little to rear panel. Internally fine, with no markings or faults found. An excellent copy of the sought-after first impression, in vgc dj.
