hb George, Llewellyn A-Z Horoscope Maker and Delineator: an American Textbook of Genethliacal Astrology 13th Llewellyn Publications, 100 South Wabasha, St. Paul 7, Minnesota 1962 £70 813pp. Pagination matches that of the definitive 10th edition of 1950, of which this is an early posthumous reprint. Original solid blue cloth-covered boards in vgc+ condition or better, with light rubbing to extremities of spine hinges and tips of outer corners of boards, and along shorter central sections of spine hinges. Internally, former owner’s owl-themed ex-libris bookplate to front paste-down; minor tearing to top of front inner paper hinge, but remainder intact, and whole of rear one untorn. No permanent markings or other blemishes found to any of the main text pages on carefully flicking through, just very occasional faint plain-pencilled page cross-references by a careful former owner. First rear fep with 1.2 cm tear to top edge. This blank leaf is followed by a bound in advertising leaf on card, that includes a postcard supposed to be detached via a perforation provided, but this has been left intact on this copy. Overall, this copy is in near-fine condition for its age, remarkably well-conserved, and a fine early impression of the book in its most fully-developed form.
