Original outwardly glossy card covers in vgc+ condition, with light rubbing to lower outer corner of rear cover and traces of adhesive residue to front cover where labels were removed, else near-fine, with traces of light edge-wear, and minimal creasing to lower outer corner of rear cover, with slight effects on final few internal leaves. Internally near-fine. First two internal leaves with slight signs of past insect damage to outer edges, far from text; the visual effect is minor. No other internal faults and no markings found. Overall, an excellent copy of this early edition with the original cover design. Later reprints are in a reduced size format with different cover design.
