Smit (possibly former Correlation editor Rudolf Smit) to ffep. Plain-pencilled crosses adjacent to some birth data, and numbers added to lower outer margins of some pages; occasional other plain-pencilled marks such as rings around words. Plain-pencilled annotations to pp. 35, 61, 69, 101, 115, 159 and 162. Additional red-inked annotations to and towards upper margin of p. 35, and to lower margin of p. 115.
