Original pictorial outwardly glossy card covers in vgc+ condition, with reading crease to spine, which is sun-faded, and former owner’s plain-pencilled address to blank part of rear cover; minimal trace of creasing across lower outer margin of front cover; and slight scratch to part of front cover. Internally, the book has an early owner’s fairly faded yellow-orange highlighting to quite a few pages, but this is surprisingly easy on the eyes. Small blue-inked marginal note to p. 75. Corrected dog-ear to upper outer corner of leaf comprising pp. 69-70. No other faults found. Clearly a well-studied copy but remains pleasant and easy to read. Markings factored into price.
