This is the fourth Bonanza impression, as shown by the letter ‘d’ being the first of the letters printed on the copyright page, each of which represents an impression. | Original full blue cloth in near-fine condition, with minimal rubbing to extremities of spine hinges and lower outer corners of boards. In mylar-protected vgc+ dj, which has moderate rubbing to extremities of spine hinges and of front flap-fold, one tiny closed tear to top edge of rear panel, and one similarly short closed tear to bottom edge of front panel; mild peripheral browning to dj flaps. Internally near-fine. Early owner’s finely handwritten purple presentation notice to a named recipient, for whom this copy was a 21st brithday present. Small black thumb-print to lower outer corner of p. 124. No other markings or faults found. |
