Condition: Original very large-format blue cloth in near-fine condition for age, with light creasing to upper outer corner of front cover and slight bumps to bottom edges of boards adjacent to lower outer corners. Gilt titling to front board and spine still clear although no longer bright. In vgc- dj, which has new archival tissue repairs to the inside of the head of the spine and of the upper part of the outer margin of the front panel to repair and stabilise old tears there. Short tear to bottom of rear flap-fold; 1 cm closed tear to top edge of front panel; two sub-cm short tears to bottom edge of same, and one to bottom edge of rear panel. Tiny apparently plain-pencilled bookseller note to upper outer margin of ffep. Otherwise internally fine.
