[2] + iv + [70 single-sided leaves] Original large-format card covers in vgc+ condition for age, with reading creases down inner margins of covers and trace of creasing across upper outer corner of front cover; minimal traces of staining to small parts of rear cover. Velobind strip intact and complete with all pegs. Former owner’s attractively slanted blue-inked signature to inside of front cover. The binding is solid throughout. There is, however, neat yellow highlighting to selected sentences from leaves 8-37, 40-45, 49, 53-4, and 60-4. Leaf 45 also with ‘Hmph!’ in blue-ink under the highlighted words ‘rarely three’. Retrograde symbol in plain pencil to margin of leaf 11, but no other permanent markings or faults found. Clearly a well-studied copy but one that remains in excellent structural condition, and overall rates good+
