In vgc+ dj, with light-to-moderate rubbing to extremities of spine and of flap-folds, 2 cm tear to bottom edge of rear panel, and sub-cm tears (one each) to top edges of both panels. Ffep bears a small black-inked prehistoric date to upper outer corner, overlying trace of mostly erased plain-pencilled bookseller note. Tiny trace of scuffing to gutter before ffep, c. 6 mm. Otherwise internally fine, with no further previous owner markings found. Tiny trace of black ink to lower margin of p. 59 appears to be in print. For their age, both the book and the dust jacket are an an excellent state of preservation. Rare outside the USA, and heavy to import from there |
