Ltd., 10 & 11 Red Lion Court n.d. £70 Library records give 1925 for original publication date, which is supported by the publisher’s address on this impression, suggesting it is the true first edition Original full maroon cloth in vgc+ condition, with light rubbing to extremities of spine and lower outer corners of boards, small bump to upper outer corner of rear board, and fading of lettering from spine. Boards generally clean and unstained. White titling to front board still bright and strong. Interesting former Dutch owner’s fine astrologically themed pictorial ex-libris bookplate to front paste-down. Ffep with small black-inked Uranus glyph and plain-pencilled mark. No permanent markings or faults found to any printed page. Minimal plain-pencilled marginalia to a very small number of pages. Overall, an excellent copy, especially on the inside.
