pb Tompkins, Sue Aspects in Astrology 2nd impression Element Books Limited 1990 £15 After the original printing of 1989. A very early impression, retaining the classic black spine design with symbolic emblem to lower margin Original card covers in vgc- condition, with moderate creasing to spine and light creasing to outer margin of front cover; trace of rubbing to top of rear spine hinge and foot of front spine hinge. Originally deep brown covers variably sun-faded in places. Internally mostly unmarked, but with black-inked underlining to pp. 198 and 201 only, minimal black-inked annotations to pp. 201 and 206; and minor black-inked marks such as rings around headings and tiny marginal crosses to pp. 152, 156, 182, 198, 199, 200, 206 and 213 – which was all I found though I can’t guarantee I haven’t missed the odd minor marking elsewhere. There is also a little plain-pencilled mark-up from pp. 135-9. Overall, a good+ copy of this scarce early printing, well-suited to a collector after a more affordable copy of the original edition of the book in its original cover design as first published
