Werner Laurie, Cobham House, 24 & 26 Water Lane, E.C. 4, London 1939 £25 After the first of March 1931 Original full pale blue cloth in vgc- condition, with wear to top of spine and lower outer corners of boards; moderate rubbing to foot of spine, bottom edges of boards and upper outer corners; light rubbing to parts of top edges of boards and spine hinges. In remains of original printed dj, split into two main pieces, chipped, and with residual piece of spine laid in loose. The reviews on the front dj cover, the advertisements on the rear dj cover and the blurb on the front dj flap can still all be read. Plain-pencilled astrological glyphs and marginal bracketing to a few pages within. No permanent marks found. Lower outer corner of leaf comprising pp. 57-8 has been cut too large for the binder’s trim and is folded back on itself, not affecting text. Overall, a very good antiquarian copy of an early printing by the original publisher
