hb/dj Coleman, Walter Astrology and the Law 1st Casa de Capricornio Publishers 1977 £25   AUTHOR-SIGNED COPY. Original black textured cloth with light wear to extremities of spine else near-fine. In original printed yellow paper dj, which is slightly browned at spine but near-fine, with very slight tearing to top edges of inside portions of front and rear covers. Internally, the binding consists of nine plastic pins extending supposedly through all leaves including the two paste-downs between two plastic guide-rails. Unfortunately, the front paste-down and front guide-rail have become detached from this mechanism, and as a result the leaves are simply stacked on the pins resting on the rear guide-rail, and can easily be lifted off it, or fall off it while the book is being handled and read. So the binding is in need of repair. This copy with Walter Coleman’s signature to ffep, dated 5/11/78, in presentation to Geoffrey Dean. All pages are present and no markings found. A complete but functionally effectively disbound signed copy in need of binding restoration or renewal.
