Former owner’s inked signature in a fine hand to ffep. binding strong and paper remains fresh. A little black-inked underlining and occasional marginal marks to pp. 29, 34, 59-66 and 76-8 (faintly). Inoffensive plain-pencilled mark-up to diagrams on pp. 19, 49 and 57. Minor strain to upper parts of inner paper hinge between pp. 84-5. No other faults found. Overall, a near-very-good copy of the rare first edition, let down only by the few pages with underlining, which is factored into the price. |
