Endpapers toned. Copyright page with minor insect damage in parts of blank outer margin. Another minor insect hole through running title at top of leaf comprising pp. 29-30, and an outcrop to upper and outer margins of following leaf (pp. 31-2), not affecting text. Insect hole through text towards top of p. 66, but affected words ‘sign or’ and ‘sign’ easily decipherable. Light outcrop of holing to blank upper outer margin of leaf comprising pp. 73-4. Leaves comprising pp. 29-32, 65-72, 153-4, 191-2 and 205-6 with corrected dog-ears to upper outer corners. No previous owner markings found, but because of the aforementioned insect holes, rates good only internally as well as overall. Still, an important early Llewellyn George edition, seldom found in the more expensive publisher’s cloth binding. Price factors in condition |
