H. S. Green, a senior astrologer in Alan Leo’s circle who contributed extensively to The Astrologer’s Magazine and its successor Modern Astrology from the early 1890s onwards, wrote several books for Alan Leo’s series of Astrological Manuals aimed at educating the beginner astrologer in a wide range of astrological fundamentals and techniques.

Weather-Predicting by Astro-Meteorology, first published in 1912, was H. S. Green’s final book, and also the last book published in the definitive fourteen-volume line-up of the Astrological Manuals series. It introduces the student astrologer to the principles and techniques of astrologically based weather-forecasting.
