About this Book Scan

Carefully scanned in full colour from our original printing of the 1933 first English-language edition, as published by the Theosophical Publishing House.

Marguerite Mertens-Stienon was a teacher for the Theosophical University set up to propagate the teachings of Helena Petrona Blavatsky. Her book Studies in Symbolism: Theogonic & Astronomical is an examination of the planets and zodiac signs as symbols from a theosophical perspective, heavily referencing Blavatsky’s ideas, and will be of interest to all students of theosophy and theosophical astrology in particular.

Our scan is produced with kind permission of the Theosophical Society.
