Robert Thomas Cross was the seventh editor of Raphael’s Almanac and held the post for several decades, during which time he penned and had published numerous books.

His Guide to Astrology was intended to give a simple introduction to astrology to tbe beginning student. It first appeared as a two-volume edition. This scan is of the original printing of Volume 1, from 1877.
