About this Book Scan

Sepharial (real name: Walter Gorn Old) was one of the most prolific and influential astrological writers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries..

His book Astrology: How to Make and Read Your Own Horoscope was first published in 1905, although it was later reprinted many times with some modifications. Our full-colour scan offered here is of the true first edition in our library.

Unlike his earlier New Manual of Astrology (1898), the present work was pitched more at the beginner than the intermediate or advanced student. To judge by how often it was reprinted, it seems to have filled a gap in the marketplace for such a work.
