John Worsdale Sr. was one of the few astrologers at the vanguard of the 19th century astrological revival in Great Britain who published an original textbook in the late 18th century. His main textbook, Genethliacal Astrology, was first issued in 1796, with the definitive second edition, an expanded revision of the original one, following in 1798. Our original printing of this is reproduced here. The main text is complete in our source volume; but a prefatory poem, the final leaf of the tables of houses and the final three pages of the appendix were missing from our original and have been faithfully reproduced in modern typing in the file
