K., though their name is unknown. Original full blue cloth with white titling to front board and spine in vgc+ condition, with light wear to foot of spine, trace of light rubbing to bottom edges and upper outer corners of boards, and slight sun-fading to very top of spine. In good+ original dj, which has a short tear to top edge of front panel, a rectangular piece missing from lower inner corner of rear panel, with adjacent small rectangular darkened patch as though a small sticker has been removed; moderate chipping to extremities of spine; and light chipping to extremities of flap-folds. Toning to inner margins of both free endpapers. Vintage Llewellyn Publications address label neatly adhered to lower margin of ffep, whose upper margin has a plain-pencilled bookseller number. Printed pages generally clean and bright, with just a few tiny red marginal dashes spotted to pp. 27, 31, 35, 48 and 52, each just a few mm long, and only one per page. Tiny stain to p. 48 crossing the final ‘t’ of the word ‘that’ and weakening the print of the following ‘t’ of the adjacent word ‘the’, but both words are easy to decipher; to p. 47, this stain falls in a blank area. 3mm tear and adjoining crease to top edge of rear free endpaper. Slight trace of wear to central part of rear inner paper hinge, but most of it is intact. Externally vgc+; internally good+; overall, a very good copy in a good+ dj.
