Many pages printed in dual columns. Original tall full cloth with gilt titling to front board, in very good antiquarian condition, with traces of discoloration to parts of upper margin of rear board; wear to cloth at lower inner and lower outer corners of boards; and light fraying to extremities of spine. Folding frontis. illustration ‘The Hymalaya Wonder Wheel’ present in excellent condition; light tearing at the uppermost 2 inches of the join of the paper it is printed on to ffep. Old plain-pencilled signature dated April 1905 to ffep. Occasional plain-pencilled marginal bracketing within. Rear endpapers with extensive and interesting plain-pencilled astrological study notes in a fine joined-up hand of the original owner. No permanent markings or other faults found. A very good copy of the rare original edition.
