In vgc+ condition, with no obvious creasing although minimal traces across lower outer margin of rear cover; but light wear to upper outer corner of front cover (see main picture), slight sun-fading to spine, and approx. 1 cm roundish liquid stain to outer margin of rear cover (see first gallery picture), which leaves traces only 1-2mm across to outer margins of last few internal leaves of book from p. 89 to end; a few slight traces of staining to other parts of rear cover. Half-title page with plain-pencilled price markings to upper outer margin. Extreme upper outer corner of same with tiny old triangular liquid stain (approx. 5mm across * 7mm down from corner), which extends throughout book block in same corner but diminishes from p. 33 onwards until almost nothing is left in the last pages. Small, neat plain-pencilled price marking to upper outer corner of half-title page. Fold-out table (see second gallery picture) in near-fine condition, with no tears or previous owner markings found, only six matching minor (c. 1.5 cm * 3mm) stains that line up together when the fold-out is closed, showing they were caused by the same slight liquid spill. This first impression is very scarce, and survivals with the fold-out even more uncommon. Price factors in cosmetic faults. |
