pb Chalford, Ginger Pluto: Planet of Magic and Power 1st American Federation of Astrologers, Inc., 6535 South Rural Road, Tempe, Arizona 1984 £175 The first and only known impression of this very scarce book on astrological Pluto Original card covers in good ex-library condition, with clear plastic strip neatly glued around whole length of spine retaining small library classification number label to lower part of spine; a further plastic strip has been glued down the length of the outer edge of the front cover, presumably to protect it from wear. Spine sun-faded. Rear cover with small patch of rubbing to bottom edge and a couple of creases towards lower outer margin; front cover with crease across upper inner margin and a couple of more central creases. Without the plastic strips, would rate very good. Inside of front cover is somewhat scuffed. An old stamp to the lower margin of the title page has been effaced in black permanent marker; likewise one to the lower margin of p. 25. Otherwise internally near-fine, with no other faults found. Overall, a very good ex-library copy of this exceedingly rare and sought-after work.
